To day or not to day #127: Fruitful association with reality requires more than thinking in models - the metaphor is by Walter Lippman, one of the greatest American journalists from the prewar years: A journalist is like a visitor from a play which regales when the piece has already started and leaves before the curtain falls. Therefore, it requires quite a bit of a journalist, given the sliding panels, to bring coherent, successful and impressive messages about what is happening on the stage of everyday life.
