Vrij Nederland 16 Nov 2013. Walter van den Berg's new novel Van Dode Mannen Win Je Niet (You Can't Win from Dead Men) tells the story of a violent stepfather, from his perspective. The author wasn't interested in the angle of the abused child , because it was all too familiar to him. He was one himself.

Most of these pasients wish to spend their last time of life at home amongst their family in a familiar and normal environment. Too many dies in the hospital and the Norwegian health system wants to improve the system so that every pasient that won't survive can have their last wish fulfilled.
