 Illustration for a book called "Development and clinical application of oral dosage forms of taxanes" by Johannes Moes. The book is a study on how to make more convenient use of taxanes (a substance taken from the taxus tree and used for cancer treatment). This particular illustration describes the different ways there where already to administer the taxane to the patient. Taxanes weren't available in the forms of pills yet so a patient had to eat it with a mixture of soap and water. |
