Cover illustration for magazine issue under subject of Money. Little faces belong to Władysław II Jagiełło, one of the former kings of Poland. The very portrait appears on the most common Polish note - 100 Polish Zloty. It is as characteristic for people who use that currency as e.g. Benjamin Franklin for Americans. Basically the idea was to use a simple visual shortcut to show that money are as desired and tempting as sex/human flesh. Source: Chimera Magazine (PL) |
